Villas in Valbonë

Loved everything about this place. The family that runs is is amazing, the food was the best we have had in Albania and the Villas were beautiful. Stayed 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Perfect place to relax and rechsrge after the Theth - Valbona hike. 10/10 would recommend!

Myself and my husband had an amazing stay at villas Jezerca.. Wonderful, friendly staff and the most delicious breakfast. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay in the mountains and the perfect location for hiking and a really comfortable stay. The most gorgeous wooden cabins with very comfortable bed and great shower in the most amazing location right in the mountains. We had dinner at the restaurant which was also delicious and great value for money. Would 100% recommended and would love to stay again!

The “villas” are new and clean. Ideal location for those who do the amazing Theth to Valbone trail. Good Albanian Breakfast. They also offer dinner. The price is reasonable for the location. You can enjoy the stunning mountain landscape and watch the stars from there.

We had a superb stay at Villas Jezerca. The host is a kind man and went out of his way to help us. The cabin is renovated to a high standard - the bathroom was particularly swanky! I’d also recommend the food, which is local and fresh. Highly recommended and just what we needed after a long hike.

Villas Jezerca is absolutely lovely. It’s just on the edge of Valbonë, so be aware if you’re doing the walk to Theth you’ll have a few km to walk along the road, but there are lots of great routes directly from the guesthouse. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and really made us feel welcome there. The food was also exceptional (some of the best we had in Albania). A big veggie meal was about 1000 Lek per person and a meal with meat was about 1500 Lek (and you’ll need cash of course)

Location was as nice as expected, brilliant for hiking. The Maja e Kollates trail starts right opposite the Villas.

We loved to be close to nature and enjoyed the view. The family operating the Villas is always keen to give hiking trail advices and they even offer lunch to go if you are heading towards Theth.
