Plötzhof is a quirky old home full of character and very well appointed in the kitchen and bathroom without losing any of the old charm. We enjoyed exploring the area especially a trip to the Hallstatt salt mine and the lakes closer to the property. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much

Very cosy house with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, which was very convenient for our family of 9! One room even had a child’s bed, additionally to an extra single bed, which was great. We didn’t meet Tanja, but were in contact by messages, and felt very welcome with the cookies etc. waiting for us in the house! She also sells some of her farm products there, which is convenient when you don’t want to go shopping right away (e.g. eggs, jam, oil,..). The kitchen was very well equipped, as were the bathrooms (all 3 with hairdryers, one with a big tub and washer & dryer (for an extra cost). The location is also quite convenient for lots of different excursions a little further away (Salzburg, Porsche Erlebniswelt, Hallstatt,..) We can also recommend Gasthaus Ölgraben for a tasty austrian meal, 10mins away by car. The first night we used the recommended pizza delivery service Gazis Pizzaservice and were not disappointed! Make sure to walk to the end of the street the house is situated on, to have a great view of the lake Mondsee!

The place was easy to find and with a great view from the terrace. Kitchen had everything what’s needed for cooking. There were two rooms with 4 beds to fit 6 people and also 1 coach on the terrace, so could probably fit 7 people.

The property had a cute and aesthetic look with a beautiful high ceiling living room and authentic Austrian furniture. The fire place is amazing and the highlight of the property. Very large back garden surrounded by beautiful tall trees. All kitchen facilities available, including bathroom towels. Blankets provided too. 5 minute drive from a small town with lovely restaurants. Would highly recommend a stay here!

A large apartment, suitable for a family, with a balcony and a huge verandah where you can relax. Very well equipped, clean - basically, everything that you might need. It's located practically in the middle of the town, so restaurants and shops are just a stone's throw away. Plus, the owner is extra nice and caring. And a free parking spot right next to the property is a big asset.

We were a family of 6 adults staying for two weeks. We loved the house Schlager and the surroundings. The hosts were very welcoming, kind and supportive. The place was super clean and cosy. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything one could imagine to need, including the dishwasher. Outside there was a terrace with BBQ possibility, which we used a lot. The house also offers a room with the washing machine and the dryer, which is very convenient. We could park our car in the garage and there are also two additional parking slots. We can definitely imagine coming back.

Perfect house with great environment and amenities. You can have everything you need in the house. The garden is well maintained and surrounding area is good for a walk in the morning. The view is amazing from the balcony. We also enjoyed so much the sauna and whirlpool. It is easy to use and bring us relaxation.

Barbara is very hospital and nice, although speaking very little English but always smile and giving us help. The environment of the house inside and outside was brilliant, every sight is a beautiful picture, the house is big and well furnished, we enjoy our stay a lot and definitely will come again when our next trip to Munich.
