Villas in Isla Grande

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We stayed here for two nights and wish we could stay more. It is pure relaxation - island life in a rustic and calm way. The huts are perfect, clean, bug free and just what you need. Don't expect luxury, but you have comfy beds, mosquito nets, cold running water, wifi and electricity (we had it all day and night unlike other places). The staff are fantastic and friendly, even though we spoke no Spanish and they don't know English (google translate becomes your best friend), they were super helpful and cute. They also offer snorkeling and nighttime plankton trips, although we didn't do these. The free breakfast is great too, and we paid 35,000 for lunch on our final day which is an absolute must try - the ceviche was out of this world and comes with a huge salad, rice, fries and a drink. The location itself is a little tucked out of the way but reachable from Playa Libre beach and La Cocoterra beach in under 5 mins (both are great local beaches- the latter is way busier but has more shade). Make sure you take cash - this is a cash only island.

The man who runs the place was super nice, he helped us book the boat to the island. He greeted us at the boat and showed us the way to the rooms. He always helped us on our way around the island. And in the morning they were asking us what we would like for vegan breakfast(we were communicating this before) and they prepared something delicious for us

This ecolodge Is located in a quiet location, just 200m of the beach. It has a relaxed atmosphere with a common area and hammocks. Staff is very friendly andwilling to help in case of issues. The fried fish is delicious.

Beautiful location, very comfortable rooms, amazing staff, great food. Overall I was just very happy with the entire experience there.

An absolute pleasure to stay at this beautiful villa. Judith and her team are such wonderful people that you feel instantly welcome. You really do feel like you have found an oasis to relax and chill. Will hopefully return one day
