The couple who runs the property are so kind and accommodating. We arrived late and they came to meet us and show us everything. They also made us dinner even though it was late. On my girlfriend’s birthday they brought her a cake with our dinner. Its a beautiful place to stay with great views and a super comfy bed too.

The lovely photos don’t even do it justice. A lot of care has gone into these villas and gardens… it’s a really magical place. You feel surrounded my nature and the villa’s are beautifully done. Really comfortable, big beds and lovely bathrooms. The fans kept us cool at night even though the temp was high. Some reviews mention a problem with ants but we kept all food in the fridge and didn’t have a problem. Make sure you enter ‘Finca Chilanga’ into Waze/Google Maps in addition to the address provided on Booking . com - we just copied and pasted the address on our booking and ended up adventuring up a gnarly off road track that our brilliant 4wd only just about managed. Turned out we’d driven straight past it! Ooops. We only stayed for our final night in Costa Rica but could have definitely stayed longer. The pool was beautiful and refreshing too. And the hosts very friendly and helpful! Don’t hesitate to book!

We stayed at this wonderful place the 1st night, straight away after our arrival to Costa Rica. Location is about 15-20 minutes drive from the airport and our plan of next day was Paos, so location was very convenient. It is actually a separate small house, having all amenities, also a kitchen and a wonderful garden with a small pool. The place is very quite and very relaxing. The owner was waiting for us until late and we appreciate it a lot. Nearby there is a supermarket, reachable in few minutes on foot. We really enjoyed it and could easily stay here for several days.
