I'm not one to often leave reviews, but I feel compelled to make an exception for D'Palm Villas. My stay there was exceptional, and the experience was beyond what I expected. Mike, the manager, consistently goes above and beyond to ensure guests are delighted. His genuine care shines through, aiming to guarantee everyone has a fantastic time in Mal Pais. The villas are stunning. They're newly constructed, thoughtfully designed, snug, modern, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated. It's a fusion of contemporary tropical vibes and a beach cottage nestled in the jungle. The location is unbeatable: nestled in the serene, verdant jungle of Mal Pais, yet just a stone's throw from the vibrant restaurants and stores of Santa Teresa. Plus, it's a mere 5-minute walk to the beach. If you're planning a trip to the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula, I wholeheartedly recommend D'Palms villas. I, for one, will surely return.

Incredible property. On parking up in the gated private driveway, we were met by the owners, Rossi and Marvin. We were given a comprehensive tour of the property, and the attention to detail is off the charts; beautifully presented including a very full bowl of fruit and chilled bottle of wine. All bedrooms are en suite with the main bedroom comprising a double bath/jacuzzi. There is a restaurant literally next door serving up quality food, but if you want to cook something up, the kitchen (s) present everything you need. Large garden offers up wild life to view from a choice of two balconies. We took the tour to Isla Tortuga from here, a half hour drive at most. Also the much rated beach Playa Manta is only an hour max drive away, with a short stop on the famous Tarcoles bridge to see the crocs. Better still take Jose’s Croc Tour to get close and personal.

    Our villa was really amazing - well designed, new, clean and feels like a home. The best place we stayed over during our one month trip to Costa Rica. Location is close to the main road but quite. Pool is super nice and our host Mike's recommendations were very helpful.

    These Villas are beautiful. Mike and Emilie are such wonderful hosts. The service they provide goes above and beyond expectations. We loved it there and will stay here again. Thank you so much The complex is at the Malpais end of town so is quieter which is nice, but it's just a walk to the main strip. The pool is a shared space between the villas and the beach is a few minutes walk. There is daily housekeeping which is done to a high standard.

    We loved our stay at D'Palm Villas! We felt really comfortable at this stunning property. It was perfect for our two young kids to run around and play. With the beach being so close by I would highly recommend anyone to stay here!! Thanks for having us.

    We've had a fantastic stay at the freshly completed D'Palm Villas! The villas are located close to a great stretch of a beach and are very comfortable and stylishly decorated. Mike and Emilia were welcoming and available to give us tips on where to eat in Santa Teresa, as well as helping us to arrange surfing lessons. We'd love to come back in the future!
