We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Our cottage was simple but well-equipped with everything we needed, including air conditioning, and we slept very comfortably. We appreciated having a small kitchen, which made it easy to prepare simple meals for the kids. The owner, Markus, was incredibly friendly and helpful. One of our favorite parts was being able to enjoy dinner by the pool. The pool itself was beautiful, refreshing, and set in a perfect location. The hacienda is very well maintained, with several easy and fun trails where you can spot plenty of wildlife. Our kids especially loved the farm animals: three friendly dogs, two cats, five horses, and free-roaming chickens that wander around the property. We also booked a horseback riding experience, which was fantastic. Markus took us to a waterfall where we could swim — it was the biggest highlight for the kids! We highly recommend staying here and would definitely love to come back.

We were lucky to book this unique bus-home at the last minute! Nestled in the jungle, the place is absolutely beautiful—clean, well-decorated, and surrounded by nature. The outdoor shower with hot water was a special touch, and the kitchen had everything we needed. After driving for three hours through a storm, we arrived late at night, exhausted and unable to find food. To our surprise, the host greeted us at 10 PM with a box of spaghetti and pesto sauce—such a thoughtful gesture! Waking up to the sounds of singing birds and the peaceful jungle was pure magic. Highly recommend this one-of-a-kind experience!

What a little gem. Everything is new and very clean. Great little pool for the end of the day. Great kitchen if just want to stay in. Elizabeth was fantastic and very attentive. She booked us an amazing horseback ride that was the highlight of the trip. About 10 min dive to Manuel Antonio. Highly recommend.

Diego, our host, who lives close by, was very friendly, available and accommodating. He met us for check-in and check-out. This house is in a gated community being developed by CR Tropical. The location is about 15-20 minutes slow drive on a gravel road into the jungle/rainforest! (Note all roads in CR off any main highway are gravel with potholes). The house is totally private. From the porch (which surrounds the entire house) we saw monkeys, toucans and morpho butterflies. Comfortable king bed. Excellent WIFI and air conditioning.

This is a typical house and it was a nice experience to stay there, It is spacious, the AC works very well. There are 2 bathrooms which is very convenient for 3 people. The kitchen is well equipped. We had some small issues in the bath and the neighbours came to help.
