"We had an incredible stay at Iñigo's villa in Bilbao! Iñigo truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The villa itself was amazing, with a beautiful pool, BBQ area, and modern interior. The transport links were convenient, with reasonable Uber prices and trains to Bilbao. We also enjoyed a great day trip to San Sebastián, thanks to the excellent bus links nearby. The spacious rooms were spotlessly clean, and the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Iñigo was incredibly flexible with check-in and check-out times, and he was always on hand to help us 24/7. Additionally, the nearby supermarket in Gexto was fantastic - super reasonable prices and staffed with friendly people. There’s so little not to like! Yes, the property is a couple of km out of Castro, but this is detailed in the description. We did try to walk it once, I would not recommend it! Ronald was amazing from start to finish. The house was so super clean when we arrived, and every appliance you could wish for was there. We had a couple of rainy days during our two weeks, but that’s to be expected. And there is so much to do in the area that we were never bored. The pool was just gorgeous. It’s not heated, but in the heat of the day you need the lovely cool water to feel good! Ronald was brilliant. If we had any questions he would reply to my message within minutes. He was so helpful and such a pleasure to deal with. We really can’t wait to come back again soon and continue our exploring of the area.

We had a wonderful stay in the house. It truly feels like a home, with plenty of leisure areas suitable for a large group. The property was clean and equipped with everything we needed, including a washing machine and dryer, sports equipment, projector and informative leaflets about the Basque Country. Everything was perfectly prepared for our group, even down to thoughtful touches like snacks, cola, and beer in the fridge. The location is ideal—close to the beach, tavernas, metro, and supermarket—yet still peaceful. It’s also within walking distance of the lively Getxo old port. The garage is very spacious as well.

Located in Getxo, Aliga Etxea. Beach & Mountain Village offers a patio with pool and garden views, as well as a seasonal outdoor pool, hot tub and solarium.

Wonderful house and welcoming and helpful host. I would unreservedly recommend it to anyone wanting to enjoy a beautiful getaway with top end facilities.

The location is incredible with the beach a 10 minute walk and 20 minute taxi into Bilbao or nearby Algorta/Getxo towns and their beaches. It’s huge and easily accommodated our group of 12.

Offering garden views, Libarona Goya is an accommodation set in Gatica, 20 km from Arriaga Theatre and 20 km from Bilbao Fine Arts Museum.

Explore Basque country in its full - and stay at this beautiful and well situated place! With a rented car you can get anywhere from here, do the shopping in a well stocked supermarket nearby and enjoy an evening in a perfectly restored farmhouse! The host is absolutely helpful and charming!

Aitor the owner couldn't do enough for us,top man The location was spot on, 15 minutes drive to Gorliz beach, which has easy access and parking, 5 minutes walk to bar next to the castle decent food and reasonable prices, all in all great place to stay and unwind, definitely revisit.also the Basque people are really friendly and helpful 😀

As a family of 5 ( with 3 teenagers) we had a fabulous stay. It's not often you get to completely disconnect and unwind and just spend time together as a family. Fabulous destination and having the private pool is a complete game changer. We all.loved our stay here. The host really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We highly recommend this destination. (Stayed 17th - 19th July 24)
