I was looking for a location where we could leave the rented car and just walk. I found it here and much more besides. This is such a unique, tranquil place, set in the hills and overlooking the town of Lanjaron. There were trails everywhere so this was perfect for us. The views are amazing and the facilities include 2 swimming pools, 1 with natural water. Given the recent temperatures we used the natural pool a lot. The town is accessible on foot and only a 5-10 minute walk down hill and maybe 15 on the way back up a very steep hill. There are enough restaurants and a decent grocery store where we got all we needed. Lina, the host, was very friendly and helpful with hiking suggestions. She also provided us with tomatoes, avocado and fruit all grown on the property. I would love to return again and have no hesitation recommending to others.

The little house is situated in a beautiful valley, surrounded by trees and nature. This is a place to simply relax but is also close to larger villages. The hosts are really kind and care about their home and the nature that surrounds it. Being off-grid doesn't mean being without comforts though. The little house has everything you could possibly need, including a fridge, gas stove, hot water and very good wi-fi! I wish we could have stayed longer because there was just so much more exploring and relaxing to be done. Not bad things but something to note is that unless you have a 4X4, you can't park in front of the little house. The hosts help you get all your stuff to the front door but after that you only have to take a short walk through beautiful trees and over a bridge to get to your car and back. Also, there will be other guests above or below and if your'e a light sleeper like me, you may need ear plugs to get to sleep. That's just something small and everyone is not as sensitive as I am. It is a wonderful place! And I highly recommend it.

Had a lovely time here, it's very quiet and surrounded with beautiful greenery and mountains. The Casa contains everything you need for a self-catering holiday, we loved the resident black and white cat who greeted us every time we returned, there's a communal pool fed by water from the mountains too; Lanjaron has a nice feel about it, lots of locals milling around, especially at night when you can often find free concerts in the park.

    The rooms are cozy, and there are small balconies with very nice views. The bathroom has a nice hydro massage bathtub. The house is close to the village by car and there is a small trek leading directly into the villlage

    The location of the villa was excellent, views were amazing. The hosts have been very helpful from booking to saying goodbye. There was fresh fruit from the trees in the garden and home made wine in the fridge. The villa had everything you needed to make the stay relaxing and worry free.

    Great location for what we wanted and Jose Luis was very helpful. Perfect room for us and then one for the girls was super sweet with a Teddy bear. Plenty of space in the villa with beautiful gardens and the swimming pool is a good size for a dip (if only we had the sunshine ) The on site cat was also fabulous with the kids and wasn't shy to be part of the weekend.

    although located in the heart of the village it was amazingly quiet here....quite comfortable if one is ok with several floors of stairs... nicely laid out with a bedroom on each side and bathrooms and stairs located in between them. . Host pays a lot of attention to detail in terms of supplies for cleaning and cooking..kitchen is nicely equipped and everything is in excellent working order. Very nice place to stay with a to-die-for location in the heart of this very diverse and colorful village.
