While from the exterior La Maison du Jardin might look uninviting, the interior has been completely refurbished and is a pleasure to enjoy. It is very quiet, you are not overlooked from the main house and the parking is secure, just a few metres across the garden. The bathroom has an excellent walk-in shower and it has plenty of heating. The location is very handy. You can walk into town in 25 minutes, take a free bus or drive in just a few minutes. Almost next door is a Brasserie and a bakery. Our hosts, Guillaume and Julie, are friendly and responsive.

This 3 bedroom house is so spacious and functional, decorated and equipped to high standards, Large windows letting lots of natural light in. Very quiet street at the front and slightly busier road at the back but no noise disturbed us. It overlooks a river/canal which allowed us to enjoy many walks along former towpaths. There is a bakery and a fabulous small traditional restaurant within walking distance. Communication with the owner was easy and we were shown around the property as we were given the keys.

It is beautifully finished and looked exactly like the photos, which is rare on many properties/hotels online. The hosts were great and communication was fast and easy. The bed was super comfortable and the stay was perfect !
