Fountain Lodge is extreme perfection. Two bedrooms with bathrooms, fitted full kitchen, perfectly decorated and having fridge, freezer, washing machine and dryer. The owners are fantastic, cooperative and very friendly. Close to the Forest of Dean in a picturesque background, running water stream. Wow we loved the stay.

House and location amazing. Perfect for a group of 10 friends, we like to cook , eat and socialise together and kitchen facilities were great. Plenty of room (and bathroom facilities) for everyone. 2 great pubs in close vicinity for a swift half before tea!

The cooking facilities were excellent, living room and dining area very comfortable, very nice spacious shower room with good shower. Outdoor space very nice especially view from top garden area. Our host obviously takes great care to insure we had a nice stay, milk in fridge and snacks with a bottle of wine was a very nice surprise and appreciated. We would recommend this place and will stay again when we come to work here again. The open fire was much loved by all of us felt like home. Overall a very nice place and host.

The property was amazing. It was a self contained little house with a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor and living area up stairs with an en suite bedroom. Really clean. The owners who own the pub with the property were so helpful and welcoming. We sat with them having a drink most nights. Definitely going back again. Loved it.

Everything was as described and reviewed. We did have high expectations and they were certainly met. The host was very attentive and kind. The Nagshead nature reserve was within walking distance, nice forest path into the village and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Thank you.

Perfect place for our weekend away!! My husband and I and our grandson and girlfriend loved the comfort and cosiness of this place. Very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Met the owners Steve and Hazel, lovely welcoming couple, on hand if needed. Would definitely recommend, and return!!☺️
