Despina's home was our "home away from home" for two weeks. The property is very close to the sea, making it easy to go to the beach. It also is at walking distance from the bus stations, coffee shop and groceries stores. Despina was welcoming and made our stay very pleasant.

The place is exactly as shown in the photos and the house newly built with all amenities to make the stay comfortable. The location is central to all tourist attractions and within walking distance to the CBD. The location is right on the beach with property having its own sun beds. Hosts (or better say parents of hosts) were amazing people demonstrating real Greek hospitality, making us feel like a family. Really we had an unforgettable stay at this place.

The villa was located just off the main road. It was very quiet with a lot of privacy. Everything is/looked brand new. The air conditioning worked really well. The pool outside with the lemon trees was really lovely. My Wife loved the kitchen.

Such a beautiful quiet location. Pool is clean and inviting, it is too small to swim in but we enjoyed it nonetheless as it cooled us down during the 40° - 50° heat.  The owner clears it of debris every morning and replaced the clorine tablet when needed. The villa was clean when we arrived and has everything you need, two toilets, 1 shower, air conditioning units in the bedrooms and lounge. Clean sheets were on the bed along with fresh towels. Beds are so comfortable, I'm guessing memory foam? The sofa and the outside seats and loungers were also very comfortable. There's a washing machine in the downstairs loo so you can wash your clothes, towels and bed sheets. 1 set of extra sheets were provided so you can change them during your stay. The drying rack is outside. Cleaning products, mop and broom are also provided so you can keep the villa clean. Kitchen is well-equipped with coffee machine, coffee pot, microwave, frappe maker, sandwich toaster, fridge freezer, kettle, wide range of pots and pans, cups, plates and glasses for both indoor and outdoor use. Coffee, sugar and tea products were provided along with a welcome pack of water and a tipple of something. Views are incredible. We had such a relaxing time, a home away from home. The owners left us to up to our own devices even though they live in the building in front/below the villa. Parking is outside the main gate on the road but your car is perfectly safe. A car is needed if staying here as nothing is within walking distance and the road only leads to a few houses up the hill so is not a main thoroughfare. The villa is not wheelchair friendly, there is a steep set of about 20 stairs leading to the villa from the main gate and inside there are 8 or so more stairs which lead to the bedrooms and shower room.

The location was fantastic. Close enough for short drive to get to the nearest big grocery store yet outside the hustle and bustle of heraklion. Ocean view, only small walk to small cozy beach of mades. The villa was beautifull, new and had everything we needed. The host was amazing and very helpfull with any questions we had.
