Made of Blue is in a beautiful place surrounded by nature, with a lovely garden that’s perfect for children. Our children couldn’t have had more fun! They spent hours in the pool, and there’s even a bio garden where the family grow their own vegetables, which they kindly invited us to help ourselves from. What really made the stay special were Aga and Minos and their wonderful children, so warm and welcoming, and they even organised a pizza dinner for all the guests. We felt completely looked after from start to finish. Highly recommended, and if we’re ever back in Crete, we’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for everything!

The host was there to greet us even though (as our flight arrived late at night) we weren't there until past 1 o'clock in the morning! She was able to recommend a good hire car company and was very responsive with communication. The flat is stunning. The air con was much appreciated and was very quiet. You can sit on the sofa and look at the ocean with your morning coffee.

Amazing, quiet location in the centre of the old town. The owner is always extremely responsive. The owner provides comprehensive information in advance, including detailed directions, instructions for accessing the keys via the lockbox, a thorough house manual, and recommendations for local attractions, activities, and dining! The house itself is beautifully presented, exceptionally clean, and features very comfortable beds. Plenty of white towels are supplied, with additional sets available in a cupboard. The large first-floor double bedroom includes a small Juliet balcony, while the second-floor double bedroom – accessed via a spiral staircase - opens onto a spacious terrace with a dining table. From here, a set of steep metal stairs leads to the upper roof terrace, which is really impressive and furnished with very comfortable outdoor seating.

We stayed for two nights at the Vasan Suite and felt completely at home. The building is beautiful and well-maintained, everything was spotless and tidy. One highlight was the heated whirlpool – perfect for relaxing. The windows are soundproof, and the entire place is air-conditioned, which made our stay very comfortable. Our host, Vasilis, was incredibly friendly, helpful, and easygoing – check-in was smooth and uncomplicated. You can tell that great attention is paid to every detail. A special thanks to Vasilis, who even let us use his personal luggage scale to weigh our suitcases before departure – such a thoughtful gesture and great service! A free private parking space is also available just a 2-minute walk from the house – very convenient if you’re traveling by car. We would definitely come back again!

The property is of a very high standard in terms of facilities (pool, BBQ, rooms etc), provision of utensils (plates, cutlery etc) cleanliness etc. We were met and introduced to the villa and location by Theodosis who was warm and welcoming. The few questions we had were dealt with promptly in a very professional manner

We liked pretty much everything about the inside and the outside. The outside view is amazing, the terrace is nice and the village itself is interesting and it offers more great views on the see, city and the nearby mountains. We liked the style of the interior, there is every equipment which you need on a vacation. The place is nice and clean, the owner provided us coffee capsules and shampoo / shower gel. We were welcomed with delicioius traditional pastry. The owner was all the time available and ready to help us out with anything. He took us by car to the city when we were leaving. And he even gave us home made traditional pastry for our journey and Cretan suveniers. We were absolutely satisfied and I can only recommend you a stay there, because of the place itself and especially due to the approach of the owner.

Lovely house,with lovely hostess Maria.New home which is just like the pictures.You feel at home in this quiet place,a stone's throw from Rethymno.There is everything needed down to the smallest detail for a comfortable stay.Maria is available for any questions.Very spacious in the four bedrooms.With parking space at the front.There is a bakery 2 minutes away and a good supermarket.Very kind gesture when the doorbell rang and her father served us welcome local pastries with a bottle of wine and coffee.Thanks,Maria and for the lovely words and wishes on leaving:).We would love to return.I recommend.

    We LOVED this villa and were very comfortable. We could have had more people and will definitely plan to return some day. The location was amazing and parking was fairly close once we received the info from the host. The pool was so nice to have in the afternoons and we walked to countless shops and restaurants.

    Luxurious, modern and elegant villa with jacuzzi, equipped with all possible appliances, super clean. Located in the village, sleeping in peace and quiet. Very kind hosts. We were greeted with fruit and other products for breakfast in the fridge, and a gift upon departure. Parking in a small square near the house. One of the best accommodations we've ever been to. I sincerely recommend it.

    Although the location of the Villas was away from the city center, the view from the Villas was excellent. What we really liked were the Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi. The facilities inside were very good, everything was in order. The hosts were very much responsive, very neat and quite place. We are seriously thinking about making Crete and this Villa as our vacation spot every year. Weather was excellent even in 3rd week of October this year, so we had an awesome time. Thanks!!

    The property was beautiful and on the beachfront which made it feel like your own private sea view. Location wise it was a short 20-25 minute walk from the old town centre and with all necessary amenities nearby to the villa. The host, Athina, was amazing and tentative with lots of great suggestions, always on hand and very lovely to speak with. I would strongly recommend staying here, we had the most amazing holiday.
