The High Dive is run by Nigel and Lisa - wonderful people that will do everything to make you feel at home. It is perfectly located in the south of the island and has a reef that can be explored right in front. The owners are very helpful in any way (organisation of diving, snorkeling, sailing etc) and put strong emphasis on running the hotel in an ecofirendly way. As such litter is being collected and all thrash is brought back to the mainland. The staff as well is amazing. We will definitely come back.

This stay was the best one of my trip in Indonesia. Not only the house is well located and good maintained but the host Irwan was the best company. He took me snorkelling, we saw many sea animals and different islands. Also, we fished and ate it in the night together. The people of the island are very friendly and I felt 100% safe as a solo female traveller. I will come back <3

As a surfer I stayed at Bebaleq as I wanted to surf Desert Point. It was a brilliant decision. The host Jhon is one of the nicest people ever and in my opinion is a huge part of why you should stay at this property. The room itself is a simple but beautiful raised room/bathroom combo situated in the middle of a field near Jhon's house, which is about a 15 min scooter ride from Desert point (the actual distance is not very far however the roads between the two locations are terrible as anyone who has been to Desert Point will know). Being slightly removed from Desert Point can be seen as a good thing (or a bad thing, depending on your opinion). Personally I found it a positive as the residence is very quiet, with no noise and I enjoyed the fact I was staying in a local village. Also you are still exceptionally close to a protected beautiful beach (it is just this beach doesn't have surf). In particular a highlight I would like to mention was Jhon going out of his way to help cart my surfboards to desert point in the early hours of the morning without expecting any payment for such a service. He truly is a brilliant host and this seemed representative of all the people I met in the village who were exceptionally friendly. Also as a note there are local cattle on the property, they are very chill/quiet but will sometimes rest underneath the house (personally I thought this was an added bonus).

This Villa is amazing, staff great, location great, 35 mins from airport, views are amazing. very large open plan, we just booked one room and you get the whole villa to yourselves. kitchen fully stocked with all appliances, local shops good for buying fruits. Tea and coffee free

We were blown away by how beautiful the villa was. It's bigger than it looks in the pictures and the views are absolutley stunning. Private pool was really nice and someone came to clean it every morning which was great. It's a bit remote with no taxis in the area but its worth it for the beautiful untouched surroundings. The living room is open plan so there will inevitably be some bugs at night but nothing too major, and the bedrooms are secure. Manager and staff are warm and helpful. Would highly recommend Villa Elior.
