Gorgeous cottage in a stunningly picturesque location. Stayed for 5 nights over Christmas and it was perfect. The host welcomed us with some cake, chocolates, eggs and other supplies in the kitchen to get us started when we arrived. The house is spotless clean. The electric heating works very well so the house was never cold despite the weather outside and the little wood burner fireplace made it very cosy over the Christmas nights.

A recently renovated holiday home situated in Newbridge, The Mews features a garden. It is set 6.4 km from Riverbank Arts Centre and features private check-in and check-out.

We were travelling for work - a show in Punchestown - The Mews was an oasis to return to every evening. It was the perfect location for the show - a short pretty drive cross country with no traffic. I particularly liked having my morning coffee with the Alapachas!

The property was very spacious; clean; nicely secluded; the beds were very comfortable and the bed linens were lovely. The property gardens were well maintained and there was a lovely outside space to sit out in the evening sun. The property was well located in a quiet part of Wicklow with good access to Wicklow National Park and the sites of County Wicklow. Maura, the host, was delightful and very helpful. We would definitely return if we were visiting the area again.

This charming spacious cottage was just beautiful! It was truly like a home away from home, so welcoming and comfortable. The beds and pillows you could sleep in forever! Our hostess Maura couldn't have been nicer! She gave us great advise was thoughtful and kind, and at the same time was very respectful of privacy. Can't recommend enough, will go back!

One of the most breathtaking properties I have stayed at. The history, gardens and the villa itself is a very special experience. Stylish, comfortable, generous in its amenities. Wonderful restaurant on the grounds too. Truly magical.

The property was superb. Very cosy and had all the mod con’s needed. Dolores and John were extremely friendly and helpful and even had scones for us on arrival and came over to meet us. The house is brand new, the host was very kind and considerate. He welcomed us explaining the house: he had also thought about breakfast (bread, yogurt, coffee, tea, etc.) The house is very clean and cozy. Although slightly out of the country I recommend it for the tranquility and the welcome it conveys.
