This is a beautiful cottage. Very spacious and has all the amenities needed for a great stay. Unfortunately, due to the weather the hot tub was not used but it was ready and available for us. The lounge space was really nice to relax in, my only disappointment is only staying one night in this gorgeous place.

Fantastic house! Lovely view down to the distant steaming river. Fabulous hot tub outside. Very comfortable beds and furniture, well-equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms. Very kind, friendly and helpful host who lives in a house on the same site (with a very friendly and fluffy dog). Will definitely stay again.

I can't thank the Hotel Manager enough! Iceland was experiencing unprecedented weather with -20 temperatures. We had booked a lodge with a hot tub but because of the cold, the pipes had frozen. Naturally we were disappointed, it was my 50th birthday and we had visions of seeing the Northern lights from the tub. The Hotel Manager went way above what we expected, he moved us to another lodge and personally oversaw the filling of the new hot tub, ensuring it reached the right temperature. At 9pm whilst in the tub we saw aurora borealis! What a memory! Thank you!
