This house is a very modern detached house. It is very clean and tidy, and all the furniture and appliances are very practical. The landlord is very warm and polite. There is a convenience store nearby, and it is not far from the JR station. The surrounding area is where mostly elderly people and children live, so it is very quiet. This house is also very close to the Arashiyama scenic spot in Sagano, which is very convenient.

LOVED this place! Large and roomy by Japanese standards. Full kitchen and laundry. Stayed 6 nights and could have easily stayed longer. Heated flooring was perfection! Huge master bed. Massage Chair was used each day after lots of walking. Bathroom was massive; and toilet room had plenty of knee room. Very easy to communicate any needs or questions. Great location - tip: tell taxis to take you to ‘doubletree’ hotel, and then it’s a short safe walk about 100m from there. Taxi to Nashiki Markets was about 700yen, but easily walkable. River close by to watch the fish and birds. Could easily have lived in this accommodation. Felt more like home than a hotel. Bonus: Shalom Restaurant downstairs has the BEST wagu on earth. And the most amazing hospitality from the hosts.

Very quaint private place. It was great value for money, very private and well maintained. The setup in the property was also very nice, with one floor dedicated to the sleeping area.

Really detail oriented and with lots of care. the place itself, every ammenity from the special soaps and creams for the facial treatment, the tea and coffee, to the nice furniture, comfy bed and sofa, theamazing shower in the garden... but also the staff and how in particular the woman that attended us in the main office basically helped us organize our stay and visit to kyoto and sorroundings. Really taking the time to explain and help us. Great experience

The whole feel of the places was just so great. It had the historic vibes with a modern interior twist. The indoor and outdoor baths were just good to end of an entire day of sightseeing. loved the free beverages provided in the fridge. The place was spacious and comfortable for 4 of us!
