We had contacted the host about check-in time, but the weather of the days before was unexpected and we have to re-arrange the schedule of check-in several times, but the host was very understanding and very welcoming from the moment we arrived. The place is an renovated Japanese tradition house which has beautiful structure and modern functions with tatami mats and heating floor system. The futon was so comfortable to sleep on. Everything was very clean and well prepare. The garden was also very big and well-cared. And one of the best thing is the location of the house. It's located in the very center where you can literally walk to any spot from Kenroku-en to shopping streets. The parking is right next to the house which makes it very convenient for people who travel by car. This is the place for you in Kanazawa! We would love to be here again. Authentic Japanese home, traditional design. We loved to get a glimps of how life is in these houses. The house was spacious for a family of 4, spotlessly clean and was well equipped. I wish we stayed longer!
