We had a wonderful stay and felt very much at home—our whole family really enjoyed it. We especially loved being able to enjoy the hot spring right where we were staying; it was such a special experience. The staff were also kind enough to help us book a local dinner that is usually hard to reserve — we truly appreciated it. We hope you continue to maintain this great service. This place had all the amenities you could think of. Very thoughtful with everything from suggestions and places to visit, closest supermarkets/convenient stores and even free onsen bath tickets which we unfortunately didn't have time to use. The free bassinet provided was very handy for our 9 month old. Joh's place was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was the highlight, we were able to cook delicious meals using all the kitchen tools available. Joh was also extremely responsive, even at 9pm at night when we heard a random chime and panicked. Lawson is literally a 30 second walk away. I would highly recommend staying here and wouldn't hesitate to rebook his place again.

We had the whole house (2 bedrooms) to ourselves. We were a family of 4 adults, one 4 year old toddler and a 7 months baby so there were enough bedding for all of us. The host Sakura was very gracious and kind and allowed us to check in a bit earlier than 3 pm. When we arrived at the house, she was already waiting for us to pass us the key. She then quickly briefed us on the house. The whole place was very keen - and had everything of the comforts of a home away from home. The onsen is outside the house (but within the same compound but no issue). The car park is just outside the house and Beppu Park is nearby. The host Sakura was very prompt when responding to our endless questions in very good English and made very good recommendations for sushi, yakiniku and tempura bowl. We went to all 3 of them and thoroughly enjoyed the food. She even helped us make a reservation for the yakiniku restaurant as it was very difficult to book (always fully booked when we tried to book online). The house had a very nice garden to chill and relax and good for photos as well. One of the bedrooms had a collection of kimonos for adults and kids and we brought them to a park and took lots of photos wearing her kimonos. This is an excellent extra touch of Japanese hospitality. We didnt have time otherwise would have taken some photos with the kimonos in her beautiful garden. I will stay in this accommodation again if I come back to Beppu. We loved it.

The location is good, just 7 minutes walk from the station, and there is a Lawson outside the door! You can take a bus from Kamekawa Station to the hot spring attractions! It felt like home and there were enough beds. It was a very comfortable stay

We love the in house onsen, and laundry facilities. A pity there's no dryer function in their washer, but drying racks were plentiful for a family of 7 doing laundry. The property was spick and span. Heating system worked very well. The balcony outdoors was a nice enclave for me to do my morning workouts. Allowed for great ventilation and connects to the onsen as well. Ample parking space, quiet neighbourhood with a big playground opposite. Room had cozy beds. But would be great if there was an option to have more pillows.

Such a beautiful place, lots of space and comfy beds! There is no reception so check-in is purely via video call, but that's not a negative point per se. The person on the other end was very kind and we enjoyed our stay tremendously
