Great for families with young children as you don't have to worry about other customers. The house is very comfortable, clean and has a Japanese style bathroom. The lady who accommodated us was lovely and she even made us a nice Japanese breakfast for us. The house is surrounded with beautiful mountains. I would definitely recommend this place.

The place is incredible! How is it not booked month in advance? Located near a beautiful lake halfway between Nagoya and Takayama amidst mountains, the cabin is really big an spacious and has tons of facilities. The house is very big and comes fully equipped. We spent 4 nights here and our main hoal was to give our daughter a brake from a busy travel schedule. Mister Katsuyuki was super friendly to us and especially to our little daughter. He even gave her a very special gift when we left. I really liked that, despite the language barrier, mr Katsuyuki sang was open to conversation. This made our stay evermore memorable as we learned new things about Japan and Japanese people.
