We had the privilage to be Haleem’s firts guests in this amazing place. We were welcomed like a Royal Family! Villa can offer a huge space, 2 bedrooms with private bathroom each. Living room with comfy sofa and additional bathroom. Well equipped kitchen and washing machine You can find all you need in this place. Location is great, 4 min walk to main street. Close enough to be in the city Centre. Far enough to not hear loud music at night. Haleem is very nice person, very kind, engaged and helpful host.

Brand new build. Beautiful garden. 5 minute walk from town so nice and quiet compared to the main street. Fully equipped kitchen A/C and en suite in each bedroom. Very comfortable relaxing stay. Certainly one of the higher quality accommodations in Arugam Bay. Large comfortable beds. I would stay here again if I return to Arugam Bay. Amir the owner keeps the property extremely clean and was always easily contactable if I needed anything. Very friendly guy providing a great service and help whenever needed. Security camera around the parameter although the neighborhood is very safe anyway. There will be absolutely no disappointment in your stay at Coconut Villa. Beautiful place.

A hidden gem! My husband and me loved this place. The host is very welcoming and will help with anything. We've been there for a whole month and couldn't ask for more: fully equipped kitchen, sleeping room with air con, an own backyard with lots of palm trees, beautiful sunrises and a big deck upstairs. The house is actually at the beach, so you can watch the ocean anytime. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place.

We spent an entire month at this beautiful villa in Arugam Bay, and it truly felt like home from day one. The villa was perfect for our needs (big bedrooms, AC, wifi, kitchen well equipped…). The garden is not fully finished (in progress) but we definitely enjoyed the outside shower. But what really made our stay unforgettable was the host. From the very first message until the day we left, he was incredibly attentive, always checking in to make sure everything was perfect without being intrusive. His kindness, availability, and genuine care made all the difference — we couldn’t have asked for a better welcome. The location is ideal too: just close enough to the center of Arugam Bay to walk to the shops, cafes, and restaurants, but far enough to enjoy total peace and quiet. The beach is only a few minutes away — perfect for an early morning swim or surf session. We honestly couldn’t recommend this place more. Thank you again for making our stay so special — we will definitely be back one day! 🌴

We loved our stay at this beautiful beach house, surrounded by beaches. It was so quiet there. We had the best walks and sunsets at the beach. Breakfast and dinner was very good. They even provided us with a breakfast bag to take with us when leaving for a safari at 4.45am. And laundry was done too (and it was never that clean and smelled so good on our trip. Staff was great. Thank you so much, would love to come back!

If you see Drift is available, book it right away. Kannan is amazing host and the best surf instructor in Arugam Bay you can find. The room is clean and spacious, the area is close to the beach, Main Street with all restaurants and shops. The internet is good too. I didn’t struggle to work remotely comparing to other places in Arugam Bay and Sri Lanka in general. I really enjoyed time spent at Drift, surf lessons and communication with Kannan.
