From the moment you arrive, it’s as if you step into an alternative reality - one that encompasses your entire spirit, soul, and mind. Run by an extremely sweet and caring older couple (who we now consider family), Crystal Bungalow is interesting, entertaining, and simply peaceful to stay at. Outside you are presented with lush and well cared for gardens (with lots of birds). Inside, everywhere you turn there is a new thing to discover (it’s a big like living in a beautiful and interesting museum). You are living on a small tea plantation in a colonial era home. The room was comfortable, bed very nice, water very hot. But perhaps the most meaningful thing is the connections we made to the owners. They care for you and they help you. We’ll be back!

Super friendly family hosting us. Very warm welcome, nice and calm location in the jungle. Sunrise is very nice to see from the balkony. The breakfast is delicious and more than you can finish. We had dinner once, which was also very tasty. Mosquito nets available. Its a nature cottage, with some minor always-open parts, so there might be some insects also inside. Don't confuse the very good rating with a 5* hotel. That's not what is being promoted :)

Very beautiful cottage. Clean and comfortable room. So beautiful view. We are sitting in the balcony see the train ride is amazing picture!! Breakfast is very tasty & strong. Ella Rock Mountain & small Rawana water fall walk way distance. Fasted WIFI seen in sri lanka.Astral zone cottage we are most likely & Highlight in our trip. The owner & his wife were helpful & kind people. Highly recommended relax to stay couples. Such a lovely place to stay couples!!!(07 minutes Ella Town by Scooter bike or Tuk Tuk,walk 20 minutes.) Owner arrange tuk tuk reasonable price.
