What an epic place to stay, more than our expectation and its budget friendly apartment to stay anyone. It's clean and calm place and felt like our home sweet home. Not only that, but also owner (aunty) was very kind heart friendly women.

Simply amazing place. from the way we were greeted and treated throughout our stay to impeccable garden and stunning views from the pool. This place really deserves to be 5 star hotel. hotels historical touch is a real bonus, and staff were professional, helpful and chatty when needed yet not too bothering when we were just enjoying ourselves. our butler Sagar (Sajar) was excellent, it was pleasure to chat with him, he arranged everything we needed. chef prepared our meals to our taste and was willing to make any changes to tailor the meals according to our kids dietary requirements. even offered us meals that aren’t on the menu. when they heard that we enjoyed dosa in Kandy, our butler arranged with chef to cook it specifically for us. we stayed in hotel much more than we were planning to. also we were positively surprised by food menu price policy, it was definitely perfect value comparing with other places during our six weeks in Sri Lanka.

Quiet but close to the city. Very well equipped, you have all what you need and even more. Caring host, which lives just across the street. I forgot some clothes and they sent it to me by train the same day. Incredible good service! Very good breakfast!

Shawn and his boys were fantastic hosts and made us feel so welcome and part of the family - going out of their way to ensure we had the best time. The accomodation was just outside the city so it was nice and peaceful - easy to get local bus or pickmes into main Kandy. Facilities were great - it was nice to have a hot shower and access to a kitchen and living area. We also loved the added bonus of being around dogs! Would highly recommend and hope to stay again when we’re back in Sri Lanka in the future

D & D Holiday Homes is an excellent place to stay, offering a calm and quiet environment perfect for relaxation. The WiFi and satellite TV were great additions, making our stay even more comfortable. It was one of my best stays in Sri Lanka! The host is extremely nice, friendly and thoughtful! I got sunstroke before I arrived and there was even a thermometer in the villa! The host has a lovely smile and is a great cook - I had one of the best sambols in Sri Lanka over there! I even got a present from the host cause she makes some art you can see in the villa which btw was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Everything worked properly. You get a western standard for the Sri Lankan price.
