We booked a room in this villa to finish of our Sri Lanka trip and we were rewarded an amazing stay here 😊 The staff is very kind and helpful. We loved having chats with Thilina and he took great care of us. The rooms were very clean and spacious including hairdryer, minibar, safe etc. Being first row at the beach, you can enjoy a swim in the sea and listen to the ocean sounds while relaxing at the pool. You can opt for either English or Sri Lankan breakfast. We choose the latter and loved it (especially the coconut rotties). In the evening, you can enjoy dinner at the villa prepared by the villa chef or take a tuktuk for about 400 LKR to Hikkaduwa beach where you’ll find plenty restaurants at the beach as well. We can definitely recommend both.

I was really impressed with the villa and the hosts. The villa is perfect: clean, fresh, stylish, everything is new. The mattress is perfect, there's a large, beautiful outdoor garden, and a comfortable kitchen table (I also worked on my laptop for a bit). The kitchen has everything. It's quiet and peaceful because the villa isn't located near the road, so you can't hear any dogs or cars. The main road is a 15-minute walk away, perfect for a stroll. The hosts are amazing, kind, and helpful. They helped with all my questions, from the smallest ones on up. Every week I get a small fruit gift. Weekly cleaning is included. A super cool place. I'll definitely be back.

We had an amazing relaxing 4 days stay in Orkid Villa. The pictures are the same as the house. Very newly built and has all the amenities of a house. There were 2 bedrooms and we travelled as a group so entire house was ours. We cooked food very comfortably. Its very near to beach 5-10minutes. Kumarakanda station is just oppsite the house (1min) so if you need train to Colombo, you can board here. Very sweet and humble family.

Nice villa in quiet place and 2 minutes from the sea. All equipment is new, clean and working. Host was very kind and helpful. Kitchen is nice and have everything needed: spices, dishes, kettle, etc. Even scissors for shrimps. There is a washing machine. Very comfortable beds and bed linen. I don't know what else, all was good.

Well equipped kitchen. Close proximity to fish market, shops, and most of all Dodanduwa beach, which is the spot for all learning surfers in the area of Hikkaduwa. Both for kids and adults. Bigger than we needed. The local beach is actually the one with few or no currents. All we asked for was helped by the hosts quickly.

Great place to stay, the house seems to be newly reconstructed. One room has AC and also moskito net. There is a kitchen and fridge available so it is possible to cook something small. The bed was very comfortable. It is walkable distance to the beach but far enough from the main road and train so you do not hear any noises. There was wifi. Everything was clean. Please, dont forget to feed the fish in the aquarium. :)

Lasantha and Madhu are the best hosts you would encounter. They were present at check in to welcome us with some lovely refreshments and do a house tour and handover keys to us. The house is so well designed with quality appliances, and attention to detail. Its a clean, organised and spacious 3 bedroom villa with a pool and ample space outside to have a great time with family. I had just asked for a restaurant recommendation and I was sent a whole list of groceries, restaurants, supermarkets, etc by Lasantha, which was so helpful. In addition, the hosts checked with us from time to time to ensure we were comfortable in the house. It was truly an amazing experience for my family. We will always recommend Nomad Nest to our friends.

The villas are located in a quiet area surrounded by beautiful nature, and have a private pool as well as a very nice, comfortable interior. Our host and the whole service was exceptional, with an individually prepared breakfast and helpful support whenever we needed it. We can only recommend!
