Home from home! Ruwan and his family couldn’t have made us feel more welcome to their lovely Homestay. Nothing was too much trouble. The room had a very comfortable bed and modern bathroom. The shower was powerful and in the heat a welcome relief. Our room was on the small side but this wasn’t a problem as the outside space had a hammock, table and chairs. Breakfast was served daily by Ruwan and his lovely daughter. It was fresh and plentiful and always delivered with a big smile. The air conditioning in the room wasn’t great and took some getting used to. Ruwan did kindly offer to change our room but we declined as we didn’t want to inconvenience him with another room to clean. However it is only fair to share this information. We stayed 4 Nights with Ruwan and his family and everyday he checked on our welfare, if we needed anything or a ride anywhere. He organised a wonderful Whale watching trip for us, one we would recommend, as a must when in this area. Ruwan kindly cooked us a delicious Sri Lanka. Fish supper despite his wife only day’s earlier giving birth to their son. On New Years Day the family invited us for breakfast in their home. The food was plentiful, delicious and a reflection of this family’s kindness and willingness to share their hospitality with us. I urge Anyone in this area to visit Ruwan and his family if wanting an authentic experience. Ruwan, thank you , we will be back. You are in our hearts forever. Xox

The breakfast selection was phenomenal! Thankfully we stayed several days so we could experience the Sri Lankan and Continental breakfast options! The service was excellent, precise and always with a smile and pleasant greeting. We enjoyed the views, the dinners, the accommodations- everything exceeded our expectations! Thank you Suresh and staff for a memorable and relaxing end to our Sri Lankan adventure!

We had a great time at Kavi Villa. Owners were super friendly, accommodating all our needs above and beyond expectations.     It’s a beautiful new Villa run by friendly family. Big space, lovely garden, delicious breakfast, good for working online. Location is absolutely perfect for exploring south beaches and cities such as Mirissa, Matara, Weligama, … There are many good restaurants in 15 min walk (Bob was our top pick). Supermarket is also super close (10 mins by walk). Madiha beach was our the most favourite beach and its very close to the Villa. Thank you for letting us stay.

    Such a great place! I had such a lovely stay at the Villa. Perfect location, close to cafes, the supermarket and the beach. Very clean and modern. Pamoda and her father were so kind and helpful. The breakfast was very generous. I hope I’ll be back again!

    Me and my brother were the first to stay in this villa. It is a beautiful space to be in. It is clean and spacious. There is aircon and the building is well insulated. The family who own the place are very hospitable and kind people and we were very happy to stay and would go definitely go back :)
