We had a wonderful stay at Villa Sanseya. The views from the room were breathtaking, and the host was incredibly friendly, ensuring our stay was as enjoyable as possible. I highly recommend Villa Sanseya to anyone looking for a peaceful and serene getaway. My two kids also adored the place. Very quiet and secluded location, beautiful garden and nature, nicely decorated and wonderful hosts. The food was out of this world and the host teaches you how to prepare traditional meals with fresh ingredients from their garden. They were also really helpful in organising and optimising our onward journey to Ella.

Everything was perfect! The place was clean has a very homey vibe. Host Nalin made our stay more memorable and enjoyable. He’s kind, very friendly, very polite,professional,very respectful and very thoughtful. We had the best holiday ever. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Such a hidden gem. We loved everything about this place. The location was perfect, in the hills with exceptional views but only a 10-15 minute tuk tuk ride from Kandy city. The food was exceptional, with breakfast served outside in the garden and dinner inside the old manor. The service is like no other. The best I have ever experienced. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very spacious with all the amenities. We loved spending time in the infinity pool with the most magnificent views over the hills including the most beautiful gardens and birds. However, what made this place so special were the staff. Everyone (especially Chula) were so warm, welcoming and had the biggest genuine smiles on their faces. Nothing was too much for them, including arranging drivers, day tours and delivering coconuts after us spotting locals climbing coconut trees. Chamilla the driver took us on an amazing tour which included the botanical gardens, gem factory, dance show and to a dosa place in the city (Balaji Dosai - highly recommend). We had the best time and couldn’t recommend this place enough.

It is a true family home, set in a beautiful garden. The facilities were exactly as described, comfortable and cosy. The veranda was especially lovely with its view of the glorious garden.

Everything is very good. Easily reachable by public bus, clean and relaxing room and very very very hospitable host. Shawn makes sure you are ok, gives advice about what to see, what to do, train, buses, basically you have any questions just ask him.

Amazing place and fantastic staff who made every effort to make our stay enjoyable and Priyantha made our stay unforgettable! The food was delicious, the rooms were big spacious and really comfortable. My children loved the river to play in and would happily just play among the rocks. The plunge pool is there which is an extra bonus. The place speaks for itself and we would love to return. Priyantha is the gem making this place so special, he was very kind to our multi generational family and we thank him for making so much effort to make our stay relaxing!

House is only about 15min by bus from the city center, place is calm and there is a lot of birds around. The owner helped us when my fiance was sick, great hospitality :) Breakfast is good with beautiful view on the river below house. During our 3 weeks trip in Sri Lanka that was the only one room with fridge and iron inside!
