We had a wonderful stay! The house is very nice, clean, and comfortable — the rooms are spotless and the air conditioner is perfectly cold. The kitchen is brand new and fully equipped with modern appliances, which made our stay even more convenient. It’s a perfect place for families, and we stayed for a week very comfortably. The owner is super friendly and helpful, and the price is very reasonable. The location is also great, very close to town. Highly recommended!

Perfect last stay before we had to fly back home the day after. The private pool made sure we could relax. The host was very kind and helped us if we needed anything. Room was clean. Save area. Free shuttle to airport was perfect and went without a problem.

I stayed at the property with my two kids during our brief holiday in Srilanka. The place is cozy , clean, equipped with all necessary goods and all other facilities(banks , supermarkets , shops) in close proximity . Perfect for a home stay and kids friendly too . I strongly recommend this place. I will definitely choose this place during our my next holiday in Srilanka .

However there is a minor drawback. Finding the villa can be challenging as there is no board displaying its name. Adding clear directions or a visible sign board would greatly enhance the overall experience. Overall , Tamarind villa is an excellent retreat for anyone seeking a luxurious and peaceful getaway with a touch of history.

R Home was a wonderful place to stay. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the start. The house was impeccably clean, with every corner well maintained. Everything was really clean, there is an A/C. The bathroom was by far the best in Sri Lanka. You can use a shampoo, shower gel or hairdryer in there. Bed was really comfortable, free airport shuttle service anytime. They provide a dinner, we didn’t use it but it seemed nice (in the picture below) :)

We had a lovely stay with such a lovely family super close to the airport which was super easy. The family made us feel super welcome and prepared us a tasty dinner and breakfast with the food we love, coconut pancakes!!! The room is very new, comfortable, and there is also a fridge and a place to sit in the garden. It is close to the airport but we slept fine during the night. We would for sure come back next time we visit Sri Lanka. Wishing you all the best and thanks for the stay!!
