We stayed in the bungalow. It is huge and very comfortable. The pool is awesome. View from the water tower at Sunset was beautiful. BBQ night was very special in the yard with torches and a bonfire. Madu, his father and The team was extraordinary. Taking the kids fiddling in the pond, collecting chicken eggs and took us for a boat ride in Tissu lake for afternoon bird watching. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay.

This is the best place we have stayed so far in Sri Lanka! The couple who own it are so friendly and helpful. They welcomed us with a delicious passionfruit juice which we could enjoy in the beautiful garden. It’s so peaceful here, and you can see peacocks and varan lizards roaming around. The cabana is really nice and comfortable. The bed is comfy and the AC works. The bathroom was very spacious and everything was clean. There is even a fridge in the room which was handy. We also did our safari through them and Gayan was an amazing and very knowledgeable guide! Breakfast is also great. If we ever return to Sri Lanka we will definitely come back here!

This area is so beautiful as it's close to the yala national park. So a lot of birds to view from your cabana. The pool is super clean, the staff is friendly and their food is very nice. They also organize tours from this spot

We enjoyed our stay in the tree house. The main treehouse room wasn’t available but the other house was. It was so nice hearing all the birds and animal sounds overnight. The breakfast was simple. There was secure parking for the rented tuktuk. The garden and attention to detail was impressive. We went for a run to the lake in the morning.

Everyone so friendly. No coffee makers but coffee brought right to our porch when we'd get up in the morning. Nice large pool we mostly had to ourselves. Beautiful place with peacocks all around and halfway between Yala and Bundala.

I really enjoy this stay and especially the host. Udara was so helpful with everything. He arranged an incredible dinner for us (his mother cooked) and the breakfast was also awesome. He also played some UNO almost until midnight with us and we talked a lot about stuff in Sri Lanka and Yala especially. The vila is big and beautiful, the rooms are completely soundproof (the massive doors help a lot). Udara also hosts three snakes in a tree in the garden and they are so small and beautiful, and also harmless. He also went with us to a temple nearby and explained the history of it. Thank you for having us!

Its a beautiful villa very close to yala national park. It was comfortable and clean and exceeded our expectations.. would definitely recommend the host and staff for a wonderful stay . We booked a safari as well at a bargain rate through the host

Beautiful, we had the entire villa which included private pool and huge garden at the lake. Many birds and other animals. House has a great architecture with many open spaces. Family is wonderful and they cook delicious. Note that there is nothing around where you can walk to, so dont count on going anywhere ( anyway you dont really need to as everything is taken care of)
