Sergeant House is a beautiful boutique hotel in a lovely renovated historic (colonial style) building. With its own private beach across the road and just minutes away from bustling Unawatuna, the location is excellent. The hotel is set back from the road in lush tropical grounds - road noise was not a problem at all. Chathuri is a wonderful host, so helpful with every request, and the staff are all great. The rooms are lovely - really spacious and beautifully appointed. Highly recommended.

One of the best stays of our entire trip! Everything was excellent — from the warm welcome to the smallest details. The room was the most spacious and comfortable we experienced, with the comfiest bed of our whole holiday. Everything was spotlessly clean, including the lovely pool, which was perfect for relaxing. The surroundings are absolutely stunning — you really feel immersed in the lush beauty of nature, and yet you’re just a short drive from Unawatuna. It’s the perfect balance of peace and convenience. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the kindness and generosity of the hosts. Every morning, an amazing breakfast was prepared right in front of us, full of fresh, delicious ingredients. You can really feel the care they put into everything. We would come back in a heartbeat — highly recommended!

The property was large and the house was great! Fully equipped kitchen! The property requires your own transportation to get around which was fine for us. Clean and tidy. The family are wonderful and inviting, also living on the property! We had as many as 6 peacocks on the property at once!

The villa, as in the photo. A nice yard and, in general, a good calm cozy picturesque area.❤ The house is large and has everything you need: kitchen, washing machine, refrigerator, Wi-Fi(fibre connection). There are shops and vegetable stalls nearby. Upon arrival, we were well received by the hosts.🙏 And generally a sympathetic family. Be healthy The owners of the villa live behind this villa, they have a wonderful cat and a wonderful dog, who will not cause trouble because they like to spend more time with each other.❤

    We had a wonderful stay here at Good Vibes. We had high hopes after reading other people's reviews and we weren't disappointed. It was paradise in the jungle. We stayed in one of the cute private villas which was large with a massive outdoor bathroom. Great beds with mosquito nets. The staff were so helpful, we ordered dinner for the evening which was delicious as was the breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer... Definitely next time.
