Lovely location with a unique character. Friendly hosts, who live next door and clear instructions. Free and convenient parking 2 minutes walk from the front door. The kitchen is well equiped. Vollenhove is a cute little city. There is ample shopping within a five minute walk of the house. The place is excellent for exploring the wider surroundings. Zwolle is a great city at about a half hour drive. There are also lots of other nice destinations nearby, like Kampen, Urk, Lemmer, and all kinds of beautiful watery landscapes (rivers, IJsselmeer, polderlandscapes, peat extractions etc.) giving you a historic crash course in how-to-build-the-netherlands. Amsterdam is only slightly over an hour away too.

A whole church for ourselves, magical! Beautiful ceiling, well decorated, nothing overdone, super comfy bedding, working organ, practical small kitchen and bathroom all neat, clean and modern. Lovely host to welcome us personally, who also arranged a superb breakfast in the morning. Can only recommend +++ great experience!

Very pretty cottage with a well-equipped kitchen and a working fireplace, located in a community of similar cottages in a forested area. Ideal for a calm and quiet vacation. It’s a beautiful holiday home with all the things you need. Roos and her husband are a lovely couple accommodating all the essential needs. We are busy medical practitioners from Australia and we could it was a perfect place for us to relax!! Furthermore, my daughter got an eye infection on the weekend and Roos was very helpful guiding us the appropriate hospital to attend. They also have a boat that you can rent for a few hours to go through the waterways at Giethoorn. Pls do it otherwise you will definitely regret it! We would love to come back again in the near future :) Prof Gilchrist and Dr Wang

The house is very cute and beautiful on the banks of canal with lush green front yard. From the house, it's just 10 min walk to Geithoorn canal village. The package included a Canoe our disposal. The property had all facilities, in terms of AC, Heater, kitchen accessories, TV, kids room. Entire house was ours. The hosts, Mrs.Anneke and Mr.Dick are so warm and friendly. Special to mention Mrs.Annekke dropped us early morning to Steenvijk station by her car, as our taxi booking was abruptly cancelled by the taxi Co and tere was no other option. This was great help by the host Mrs.Annekke, because of which we could catch our train from Steenvijk station for our onward journey. Would strongly recommend stay at Huisje Beukers. Thanks Mrs.Annekke and Mr.Dick for giving us the experience of wonderful stay at rhe amazing village Geithoorn.
