It's a tranquile rural area with a very nice view from all the windows. You have 2 big sleeping rooms above and a large living room downstairs. Stairs are typical Dutch - so for me no problem ;-) Toilet upstairs and downstairs, large good equiped kitchen, you can park your car in front (and then quickly hop accross the - quiet - street to meet the horses and the goats). There are the typical frysian small ditches around with waterplants, ducks and other waterbirds. You are far away from the main street and you breathe a perfect fresh rural air. Still you are close enough to the "big" city, Sneek, where you can get everything needed. The small harbour is right around the corner. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to use the boat and enjoy a trip in the beautiful surroundings (e.g. IJlst with its famous mill "De Rat" or the beautiful ancient houses surrounding the "gracht" (canal) It's a perfect stay for couples - with or without kids and I can recommend it to everyone who likes a rural natural setting.

    Super wonderful Villa! Amazing place, we stayed there with friends, great location, close to the forest and a beach, Perfect for our family and friends, the terrace, the large living room with enough seating and a long table as well as the game cellar leave nothing to be desired.
