Super House, with a perfect location, near shopping, transport and park. The Host is very kind and helpful! We would love to return!

Everything was really great and in a perfect location right on the water! It's a fantastically bright, airy and spacious place for two people, really nicely decorated with two great eating areas one of which is outside. It was a delight to spend four nights here, wish it could have been longer.

Really nice, comfortable, clean and private accomodation. The perfect place for us to get out the city and enjoy the Sauna and Hottub... Joyce was super friendly and hospitable and went out her way to make our stay special. There some animals on the property and we even managed to get some fresh eggs for breakfast the next day. The place comes with a tandem bike which we used to go for a cycle to a small recommended restaurant (falafel&zo) which was also great. The Hottub was preheated when we got there and the Sauna worked really well too. We used it as a break to get out of the city and found it perfect. We will definatley be back and highly reccomend it.

The wellness area in the garden was amazing and also the reason why we booked it, so we were very pleased that it was a great experience even though it was freezing outside

The host was surprisingly active for helping, very friendly, reachable at any time, so we felt supported. The property was cosy inside, has well-equipped kitchen, and the sleeping conditions were very comfortable! The bus station, market, restaurants, bakery, patisserie - all a few minutes walk. Very quiet place, with beautiful views everywhere! Suitable to relax every evening after visiting crowded Amsterdam, and to start your day in a great mood again.

Don't know where to start from - For Overleek, my suggestion to fellow travellers is to be sure of what you want from your time off - if it is peace, quiet, natural beauty, horses, canals, ducks, swans, long walks, bike rides, be at least 4 kms from the closest city, limited public transport access, then Ineke's place is it. She is welcoming, helpful, and lives next door in a separate house. She got us a fabulous bottle of wine (an Abruzzo) which we finished even before we had met her. And fresh eggs. Lovely! The house is beautiful - not perfectly manicured, but like home, clean and attractive. It is made of raw wood, not tiled. It is over the lake, indeed. While sitting at the patio, you cannot see the lake fully, as the reeds grow high, but a little wiggling or a few meters walk into the field across the road and you have a beautiful view. Ineke has two canoes which she offered to us, and I did indeed sail into the lake. Stunning. It is mostly quiet, with non intrusive and courteous neighbours. The kitchen has everything you could need to make yourself comfortable. The bedroom is large (i do not need much space and it seemed like a palace to me). All fixtures are functional and useful, including the lights. There are hens (yes, the ones who laid our eggs) in the backyard who will come inside to greet you if the door is open. The backyard is overgrown, but that is charming for me, and flowers grow wild and free. Parking is no problem and you slot in right next to Ineke's car; if you have an RV or something much bigger, suggest to talk to her in advance as there is no other parking in front of the house. It's the countryside, and the roads are narrow. One follows garbage segregation and the house has clearly marked bins right outside. A car or a bike is useful to have, else, unless you are a big walker will be tough to get to store.
