Highly recommend, there was 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms aswell as a washing machine and dryer. Massive living space with a fire place and kitchen. 2 balconies also. Be aware there are 2 flights of stairs ( 3 levels). Was only a 20 minute bus ride to the cbd.

We rented this house as a group of four and fell in love with it the moment we walked through the door. It’s one of the coziest and most comfortable homes we’ve ever stayed in. The house has everything you need for a perfect stay. The host was always in touch, and thanks to that, we felt like we were visiting friends. Lovely place to stay for the northern lights or just for relaxation - it's a stand-alone house with 2 bedrooms and one big living room + fully equipped kitchen, roughly 14 km north of Tromso, with view right at the fjord. You basically have your own beach and your own unobstructed view of the fjord and its nearby mountains (there are other houses nearby, but not too close). Therefore, we got to see the northern lights directly from our living room, without having to hunt them. You can also bee as self-sufficient as you wish - there are some big stores exiting Tromso, you can buy anything you wish from there and get by for days in your cabin, you have all the equipment you need in the house. Otherwise, the check in and check out process is pretty easy - you receive a code to open a safety box near the entrance door and get your keys, then you leave them there when you leave... Would highly recommend for anyone wishing to pass some quiet time near Tromso and to see the aurora. Be advised - you are in a stand-alone house, so you get exactly that. Therefore, for instance, it could get noisy due to strong wind, may keep you up at night.

Everything! Renate is the best host I've ever had in all my years of travelling. Always very responsive to messages, she is thoughtful and helpful and always puts our needs first. She went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed and enhanced our Tromsø experience. The House looks exactly like the photo on booking.com. We had lots of fun with snow just outside the house, including snow sledding! Both the House and the host are charming 😀 We were blessed to see lots of northern lights during our stay. The House is near to the Tromsø Lapland where we had an amazing reindeer sledding experience. I will definitely recommend this House to anyone who loves nature and the aurora borealis. We had our best time in Tromsø in this House!

The accommodation was beautifully presented, with excellent decor/ furniture/ fittings, on 3 levels. The kitchen was very well fitted with lots of extras. We liked coffee machine with pods, plus biscuits and lots of helpful extras. Our host was amazing and treated us so well. We were so pleased with the standard of this place. Extremely convenient, being a 20 minute pleasant walk into town.
