Waiotemarama Falls Lodge is unique. Built by the owner, who is passionate about nature, the house stands in its own grounds and is quite remote. Access is via a gravel road through a beautiful valley. If you are looking to get away from the normal tourist experience this is the place to stay. Tranquil, fabulous night skies, many birds, glow worms in the garden, and back to nature living. We would happily return.

The place is gorgeous and it was an easy drive to see the tall and old trees!! Robin prepared dinner during two nights of our stay and she is an excellent chef!! The art gallery in town is lovely and serves a good breakfast. If heading to the area definitely book this place!!
