The house is amazing from the drive up past the pond to the highland cattle the view and the lodge itself. The structure and architecture of it is stunning. The owners were very kind and helpful ohhh we loved the jam and crumpets wow. Actually had to buy some more jam was that nice. Thank you so much we loved it.

Absolutely wonderful spot at 45 min drive from tongariro alpine crossing. A complete house and hot tub with view on the mountains. Kitchen was very well equipped. Lots of attention to detail and very spacious. So far our best accomodation in new zealand! Will probably go back one day..

The host was very considerate and have turned on the heater for us before we arrive, thank you! The house is so clean, comfortable, all facilities are great. Kitchen wares/tools are impressively comprehensive. Love the high quality teas from the cabin and the chilly sauce in the fridge. There are great books and games that children will love. We had a very comfortable night staying here. I have been to many NZ motels/airbnbs, I would rank this as the top 2%. If I ever travel back to Tongariro again I will definitely choose this property again.

Very clean, quiet, spacious accommodation. The bed was very comfortable, as was the couch. Just a short 2 minute walk into town. Perfect for our needs.

A gorgeous house. Incredibly comfortable beds with great quality linen. The decor was great and the layout of the house was perfect. We loved the fireplace. Wish we’d stayed longer! Perfect for big families or a trip with friends.
