Our stay at Canyon Rest House was excellent. The accommodation was clean, spacious, and just a 15-minute drive (4WD highly recommended) to the start of the 'Balcony Walk,' making it incredibly convenient. Rossan even helped us build a fire in the outdoor fireplace, which added a wonderful touch to our evening. Thank you for a memorable stay!

When we arrived at the property the owner was already waiting for us with the keys. He was very welcoming and helped us with our luggage. Asked us how much water needs to be filled in the swimming pool so that the kids are comfortable. The property was so green, mango trees were filled with ripe mangoes, banana trees, date trees and to add it up it was raining which made it more magical. The property was clean, impeccable and the fridge had mangoes and dates for us. Even the kitchen is filled with utensils so for a family you are not far away from your home

- charming garden for relaxation with many seating options - clean rooms with comfortable beds - enough hot water with good strong flow - no light smog, no wifi We enjoyed simple but very comfortable and functional accommodation. We were enchanted by the beautiful garden around the house, where we relaxed in our free time. The adults enjoyed the peace and energy of the place, the children the swings, the hammock and the visit of the cat lady. I can imagine to spend here more than two days!

Great location, amazing house , amenities . Sultan and his family were super flex and chill. They made sure we had a good time. The location is amazing and well worth the drive. I wish I could spend few more days there. The host organised barbecue and that was delicious. Our car tyre had a flat and they helped us get fixed. Highly recommend this place.

Me and my girlfriend spent a night in this beatiful house. The house is very big and comfortable, it has got all the services you need, including a private parking. We asked for dinner and breakfast and the neighbors prepared typical Omani dishes for us, really good! The place is amazing, you are in Jabal Shams at 1900 meters on the sea level, the landscape is breathtaking and is near the beginning of the balcony walk hiking, a 5 km trekking that is wonderful because you walk on the edge of the amazing Wadi Ghul.

Wauw! What a amazing stay we had at this guesthouse. This accomodation has a perfect location (near the mountains and a village) is well designed and is very clean. The rooms are modern, totally new and the beds sleep very well. Our host Hommed was very kind and helpfull. He showed around the area and can take you for a hike in de beautiful mountains of Oman.
