This is a cute, comfortable, well-remodeled home in a convenient part of Sao Miguel. We stayed as a family of 4, and my daughter said it was her favorite stay ever. The outdoor garden and showers are a nice touch coming back from the nearby beach. The host Ines is a wonderful person and was so helpful, she gave us directions, fresh bananas from her tree, and even helped get us an item we had left behind!

The host was very communicative and friendly. Questions were answered promptly and she also sent a message just to check in, which was lovely. The property was perfect for our family, as we have 4 young children. It was equipped with everything to accommodate that including crib, potty seat and high chair. The yard was huge offering lots of room to play...my kids loved the soccer net, swings and ping pong table.

This place is an absolute gem! The house is stunning, the location perfect, and the atmosphere peaceful. The heated pool with ocean views was easily my favorite part. You’re just a short drive from Ponta Delgada, 5 minutes from Populo Beach for surfing, and within easy reach of the whole island. Plus, there are two natural pools right next door. Everything about our stay was incredible. A huge thank you to our host Teresa, for making everything about our stay so special. It felt like a home away from home. I couldn’t recommend it more!

The house was super well-equipped : we had all the kitchen tools necessary for cooking, even saran wrap and tupperwares for the leftovers! The beds were super comfortable with air con remotes in every room to adjust the temperature. We were traveling with a baby and toddler - there were blocks and little farm animals to play with, comfy couches as well. The host was very reactive when we had questions about the town (asking about food delivery) as well as issues during the stay (stove was not working, they fixed it within the hour). We had so many towels, beach or shower, and dishclothes for the dishes! There are never enough in those places usually, so this was a super plus for us.

Casa Cayenne is such a cozy and great place to stay at, it is really close to Ponta Delgada center by car, and you have everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay. Plus it's on a pineapple greenhouse plantation, making it super unique! The garden on site from which you can pick herbs and salad is a really great addition, as is the pineapple culture tour given by Luis. Luis and Noelia are such great hosts, super welcoming ! Communication was fast and easy. Would recommend to anyone wishing to spend a few days on Sao Miguel Island.

Beautifully appointed apartment with a very convenient location. Convenient parking right at the door of the house. On the neighboring street in 2 minutes walk there is a coffee shop, grocery store with everything you need. To the city center 7 minutes on foot. The owners are super hospitable, caring like your closest friends. So careful to take care of your stay that you only want to come back here. Which we will be. Thank you so much.

The place is wonderful. We had a great time. It's spacious, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, one en-suite, a big dining room, kitchen area and a living room. There's also a garden, where had a bbq. Great place to stay for a family, enough beds for six. Most of all I have to emphasize the hosts. Ana and Ricardo were so welcoming, even took us around their pineapple plantation. We felt like VIPs. And at the end, I managed to forget my mobile phone at the house, couldn't get back in because we left the key inside and it was locked already, so while we went to the airport, to check-in, they got the phone and brought it to the airport. If they hadn't, I would have probably missed the flight. Can't recommend the place enough.

    The villa is beautifully designed (n reality it is even better than on the photos) and very well equipped (the kitchen is one of the best equipped kitchens of all the apartaments that we ever visited). Rooms are very spacious and stylish. Everything was super clean. The host was very welcoming, he explained everything to us and there was a nice welcome basket of some of the local products. The view from the living room and the big terrace is amazing.
