We received a great welcome, and we're treated as friends, while at the same time given space to feel at home without any intrusion. We were greeted with fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden, a little pottery gift, and beer. The facilities were excellent, from relaxing spaces to washing machine. The lay-out of the whole property, including the covered seating area, sun loungers on the grass, etc etc was really great. The location of the property was great for local trips, and equally great for staying home and relaxing. The family are lovely, which made the stay very special. I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Very welcoming hosts, very clean room, excellent view, quiet, some km away from the busy national road. The stars at night were amazing. Appreciated the availability of the espresso machine, with coffee included, and the nice terrace in the yard where the host allowed us to stay through the day, after check-out.

We had a wonderful experience in this beautifully restored old house that combines the soul of traditional Romanian homes with all the comforts of modern life. The house is spotless, welcoming, and filled with a fresh, lovely scent that creates a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The Pridvor (traditional veranda) is a perfect place to unwind – a true corner of peace and beauty. The location is ideal for exploring the area’s rich heritage. Nearby you’ll find Govora and Horezu Monastery Monastery from a Single Tree, Arnota, and Alina-Marina Monasteries – all peaceful sanctuaries full of positive energy. The region also features unique natural spa pools like Bottomless, Iodine and White-and-Blue, known for their rare therapeutic benefits. You’ll need a few days and a car to truly enjoy it all. Thank you to our host for this charming and carefully maintained home. True Romanian hospitality at its best. Excellent value for money – even more beautiful than in the photos. We’ll gladly return!

The house has everything you could possibly want - great amenities in the kitchen and bathroom. We loved sitting in the outside pagoda in the evening. Location is perfect for taking a rest between tackling the Transalpina and Transfagaran. The host was super kind and helpful. Really good value for money.
