We had a wonderful experience in this beautifully restored old house that combines the soul of traditional Romanian homes with all the comforts of modern life. The house is spotless, welcoming, and filled with a fresh, lovely scent that creates a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The Pridvor (traditional veranda) is a perfect place to unwind – a true corner of peace and beauty. The location is ideal for exploring the area’s rich heritage. Nearby you’ll find Govora and Horezu Monastery Monastery from a Single Tree, Arnota, and Alina-Marina Monasteries – all peaceful sanctuaries full of positive energy. The region also features unique natural spa pools like Bottomless, Iodine and White-and-Blue, known for their rare therapeutic benefits. You’ll need a few days and a car to truly enjoy it all. The house it is perfect and clean with a perfect location for get away a little , isolated but still so close to grocery shops . We really appreciated our stay at Casa Rosca, the hosts were so kind and always ready for our needs! The area is next to a forest, assuring intimacy, fresh air and quiet. The house was so clean and cozy. The pictures can not describe how beautiful is in reality. The fireplace was great for our anniversary party! A lot of facilities that we ve appreciated and also there are a lot of attractions around, Horezu monastery and others old churches, handmade ceramics workshops, so we highly recommend! ❤️

Loved the clean air, proximity to nature, quiet nights, smell of mountain breeze, intimacy. Even saw a snowy owl <Bubo scandiacus> (or barn owl <Tyto alba> i am not an expert... i was white with dots on its feathers, and huge wingspan of around 1 meter). An extremely rare sight, but possibly has a nest nearby (according to neighbors); it flew right in front of our faces, and 1-2 meters from the ground! Splendid and majestic animal, was as silent as the night.

I visited this property in the midle of octomber, weather was still nice during the day, but even if nights were cold, the house ia really well heated! the property is equipped with everything you need! I love that they are allowing pets, so we could bring our 2 dogs for the weekend! There is a barbecue available and in the back there is also a nice place to set up a fire and get warm while enjoing time with family or friends!
