We loved that we were able to bring our dogs with us! We have been wanting to plan a trip to the beach with them and a mom’s trip with just us! This house was so perfectly located, not too far from anything, but also kinda tucked away! The McDougalls were very easy to communicate with and super responsive whenever we had a question.

Rockport is my favorite fishing town. We've been going down there for a year now, since I found it looking for bait staying in Port A. This trip was hands down the best fishing experience we've had so far. We caught more game fish that we were after in 8 hours than we had all year combined. What an amazing time! The host was amazing, the fishing was amazing, the green lights all down the canal and our dock were amazing. My son and I were extremely happy with this trip. We'll be back for more fishing soon.

I love how it was keyless! Just a code to get in, super easy! And I loved the soaps in the showers, I took pictures of them, because they smelled so good, and we loved the gifts left from our hosts! 🤍

The property was clean and very welcoming. We were treated to great views, great location, and many extras (snacks, mosquito repellant, and toiletry items if we needed them). Property owners were readily available for questions or concerns and happy to help. It was a relaxing stay.

It is beautifully equipped with everything you could possibly need. All the furnishings (beds/sofas etc) are superbly comfortable. There were only 2 of us but it’s perfectly well equipped for a couple of families with kids, especially the downstairs area which has been perfectly set up for the kids while the adults are upstairs. The bathrooms are wonderfully spacious and the showers are delightful (we are English, we are used to appalling plumbing). The pool is lovely and there are thoughtful things like deckchairs and towels available to use at the house. We have had such a good time here that we just don’t want to leave. If we make it back to Texas (and here is hoping we do) then we are coming back to this house.
