This felt like a home. It was secure and safe with the locking front gate, easy touchpad security and the beautifully well appointed kitchen complete with condiments for cooking. Laundry was great with detergent and full size dryer. Loved the space and the extra touches for guests. Hosts Kendra and John were quick to answer any questions.

The apartment is beautifully decorated and well taken care of. The kitchen is very well stocked and supports complex cooking and everything that one would hope for on a short stay. (Coffee maker present with capsules given to cover our whole stay) The hot tub works very well, and we enjoyed it two nights of our three night stay (each night one adds a cleaning treatment to ensure water quality remains good). Grill and outside chairs all perfect. The beds are especially comfortable, and the air conditioning and ceiling fans above each bed ensure a great night's sleep. The shower is very good and the bathroom easily supported three showers per day without issues. The apartment is part of a small complex of three tourist cottages that are enclosed by privacy fence and have automatic gates for car entry and exit. Security concerns were a non-issue. The location adjoining the Rio Grande river valley filled with trees and not far from the old town is ideal. We didn't have time for walks along the river but saw many walkers and bikers in the area. The sound of water in the Rio Grande canal provides a nice element while sitting in the yard in the evening. The Albuquerque old town and plaza are a short drive away, and the parking is simple. We visited Acoma Pueblo one day and Chaco Canyon on the way to our next stop in Sante Fe. We strongly recommend both as day trips.
