Already the arrival was very pleasant: We were welcomed by Gabriel who picked us up from the boat and walked us to our house. The house was great! Lovely decorations, super clean, good wifi, kitchen equipped with everything you need, quiet and with green all around and right at the boarder of the National Park. Gabriel and his colleague Rodrigo gave us a little walking tour around the village with recommendations for restaurants and info/history about the town with a visit to the Turtle Museum. They were such great guys that we decided to do a Canoe tour with them the next morning and also that we enjoyed very much. Tortuguero is amazing and peaceful with its infinite beach, the canals & the park with its amazing wildlife - definitely one of our highlights of our Costa Rica trip.

Would absolutely stay here again - we wish we didn't have to leave! It is out of town at gorgeous Playa Chiquita, with lots of shops and food options nearby. The host, Monica, was very helpful and even arranged a dentist appointment for us when my wife broke a tooth. The great thing is the location, right on the edge of the national park and less than a 5 minute walk into Cahuita. We were lucky to see 15-20 howler monkeys in the garden as well as capuchin monkeys and an agouti. We actually saw more wildlife while chilling out at the property than we saw in the national park.
