Already the arrival was very pleasant: We were welcomed by Gabriel who picked us up from the boat and walked us to our house. The house was great! Lovely decorations, super clean, good wifi, kitchen equipped with everything you need, quiet and with green all around and right at the boarder of the National Park. Gabriel and his colleague Rodrigo gave us a little walking tour around the village with recommendations for restaurants and info/history about the town with a visit to the Turtle Museum. They were such great guys that we decided to do a Canoe tour with them the next morning and also that we enjoyed very much. Tortuguero is amazing and peaceful with its infinite beach, the canals & the park with its amazing wildlife - definitely one of our highlights of our Costa Rica trip.

Offering an outdoor pool and water sports facilities, New Caribe Point is located in Cahuita in the Limon Region. Puerto Viejo is 14 km away. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property. We loved our villa, the pool, the owners and staff, the wildlife - during our stay we saw toucans, iguanas, agouti and sloths. It was a perfect place to end our Costa Rican trip.

This was without a doubt the best accommodation we stayed at in 6 weeks travelling Central America. Such a beautiful property nestled in the jungle, with wildlife all around you. The house is spacious with lots of room for 4 and the fans and shade kept it nice and cool inside. The place has everything you need and we spent many hours playing cards outside on the deck. Would absolutely stay here again - we wish we didn't have to leave! It is out of town at gorgeous Playa Chiquita, with lots of shops and food options nearby. The house is well equipped and the atmosphere is great if you are looking for a unique (but still comfortable) jungle experience. The national park is just behind the house, monkeys, colobris and other cute animals were regular visitors. It is close to the town, so you can easily find everything you need.
