We loved our villa, the pool, the owners and staff, the wildlife - during our stay we saw toucans, iguanas, agouti and sloths. It was a perfect place to end our Costa Rican trip.

This was without a doubt the best accommodation we stayed at in 6 weeks travelling Central America. Such a beautiful property nestled in the jungle, with wildlife all around you. The house is spacious with lots of room for 4 and the fans and shade kept it nice and cool inside. The place has everything you need and we spent many hours playing cards outside on the deck. Would absolutely stay here again - we wish we didn't have to leave! It is out of town at gorgeous Playa Chiquita, with lots of shops and food options nearby. But what is absolutely exceptional is the location of the accommodation. The cottage is in a beautiful garden on the border of the town and the Cahuita National Park. This means that in a few minutes you can reach a well-stocked supermarket, restaurants. At the same time, you are a short distance from several beautiful and (in July) almost empty beaches and a tropical rainforest. As a bonus, capuchin and howler monkeys roam around the cottage almost daily, but you can also see agoutis, toucans and hummingbirds there. It's like you are staying in the middle of a zoo.
