The place was clean and well built. The road there is a bit rough if you are not used to the area but once you get to Canavida, it’s all worth it. The view is absolutly breathtaking. One of the best ocean views I have seen in a while. Also the owners Jess and John are amazing humans and wonderful hosts, they are on the premise so open to help with anything you need. We also travelled with our dog, and there was plenty of space for morning walks. It was really nice! Oh and you can see all kinds of birds like macaws and tucans on the property. Honestly a gem!

We had a wonderful stay at Monteverde Campo Azul! Emanuel was incredibly helpful in organizing our tours, and Xinia warmly greeted us and showed us around upon our arrival. The view from the property is absolutely breathtaking, and on starry nights, the sky is truly a masterpiece. We especially loved the special table where food is left for the birds. Every morning, we were delighted to watch toucans, motmots, and many other bird species enjoying their breakfast. During our stay, we felt so relaxed that we accidentally left our passports in the house when we checked out. Emanuel promptly reached out to inform us, and they kindly kept our documents safe until we could return to pick them up. Thank you for making our honeymoon so special!

A wonderful hidden property with luscious surrounding jungle, wonderful animals, and great staff. Markus was fantastic, he greeted us upon arrival, showed us everything and gave us great tips. We were able to have freshly prepared vegan breakfast and dinner. The little house is also perfectly equipped with everything you need to cook a meal. The property with its own trails, waterfalls and swimming pools is wonderful. We can only hope to come back!
