You park in the basement below your apartment and roll your suitcase to an elevator that takes you to the floor where your apartment is located. Everything is new, and everything works. A major bonus: there’s an adults-only pool, where children are not allowed. There’s also a bar here.

This was a superb property, finished to a very high level of workmanship. It had constant hot water. A great shower and was full of the equipment needed for cooking etc. It also had very good wifi or internet connections. It was also spotlessly clean. It has two balconies, one with aa jacuzzi and a large sun bed. I used neither as I was engaged in remote working and preferred to swim in the sea.

We had a great stay here. The unit is beautiful, San Mateo is very charming, and there is a great bakery directly across the street. We had dinner twice as Tasco Baco — highly recommend. We stayed here the beginning of February and were not cold like others mentioned.

The house has stunning views of the coastline from the rooftop terrace. The host was absolutely lovely and went out of her way to ensure that we had a great stay. The house is located in a quiet and peaceful area and was well stocked with everything you could ever need. We hope to go back again for another visit in the future.
