Situated less than 1 km from Ruka Ski Centre, these cottages are just 100 metres from Lake Talvijärvi. Each provides a fully-equipped kitchen, a private sauna and a wood-burning fireplace. The cottage was very spacious, enough to accommodate 6 people. The kitchen had all the needed utilities. The fireplace in the living-room is very easy to use and creates an amazing atmosphere. The sauna is also very easy to use. Location is really nice, on the bank of the lake and easily accessible. The village is 10-15' walk away in winter, as you can walk across the frozen lake, and the surroundings are really nice for longer walks. WiFi was working really well, even if there were more than 10 devices permanently connected, and

A very charming little house nearby the Ruka ski resort. Surprisingly it was very warm in the house and very cosy. We really liked the dishes with the raindeers and there were plenty to do in the house as well. Very lovely!

We arrived earlier than the check-in time and the host permitted us to enter early. Very responsive. The place was awesome and cozy. Very close to the ski resort. Exactly what a group of 4 friends needed. We used the sauna and the fireplace. The host provided easy to use instructions for all the appliances.

The location is amazing. The facilities in the property are first class. Response from the host was immediate and always helpful. The hottub was the icing on the cake. We also really enjoyed the fact there were some items left in the property for our use. (Salt, sugar coffee etc). So many rentals we stay in put these items in the rubbish bun when they are full. We found lots of these condiments in the presses and were able to cook easily with the provided utensils.
