The onsite convenience store and the pub at the inn made the experience even more enjoyable because they had everything that we needed and delicious food! Our kids loved the playground.

The moment you step in it feels like home. Great view towards the mountains. It has all amenities you need, glasses, mugs, plates, pans etc. Libby just cleaned the place when we arrived, it was impeccable. Bed was comfortable, hot water was really hot.

Melfort Village is set in a lochside location, 24 km from Oban. Furnace is 23 km away. The units include a dining/seating area with a satellite flat-screen TV. Very nice place with beautiful views, cottage was convenient and well equipped.

Around 13 miles from Oban, the luxurious Bonawe House Holiday Cottages offers apartment and cottage accomodation in the Scottish Highlands. This accommodation was spectacularly beautiful and well priced. The rooms in the suite upstairs were beautifully decorated with gorgeous furnishings, including an actual Narnia wardrobe!! However for me, the views from every window were hands down the most outstanding part, they were simply breathtaking to say the least!!! The grounds were also incredible which included access to walking trail and a picturesque playground with rope swings and balancing rope; it felt like a woodland circus course. In our 3 weeks of UK holiday this was without doubt my favorite place to stay!!! I will definitely return on my next trip and stay for longer than 2 days.

Cologin’s chalets, lodges and private houses offer attractive self-catering accommodation in the Highlands, less than 3 miles from Oban on Scotland’s west coast. Amazing location. Wonderful staff. We really enjoyed the walks recommended. Easy access to Oban. Very thankful laundry facilities were available.
