Great location - really clean, really nicely done and very homely. Claire was brilliant and kept checking in to make sure everything was perfect.

2 Malt Kiln Cottages ligger i Grizebeck og kun 30 km fra World of Beatrix Potter. Her er bjergudsigt, gratis wi-fi og gratisprivat parkering. The flat was very spacious and had a nice view of an old cottage across the road. Everything was clean with nice modern fixtures and appliances. Although the flat is right on the roadway, we had no road noise. Having off-street parking was a plus. We also liked having two full bathrooms. The kitchen had everything one would need for a short or long stay with a large refrigerator.

Nice layout and perfect position with the Fiver Cocker flowing next to the rear, a two minutes walk to Sainsbury’s Supermarket and 5 mins walk to town centre. Good car park too

The Old Map Shop ligger i Wigton, 28 km fra Derwentwater og 33 km fra Askham Hall, i et område hvor man kan tage på vandretur. Really excellent place for value near Caldbeck. Short walk from town center, very comfortable and well appointed. Absolutely recommend.

Tranquility No 42 Port Haverigg Marina ligger i Millom med udsigt til søen. Her er en have, en terrasse og en bar. Der er også gratis wi-fi. Loved the views and the accommodation was really comfortable with everything you needed for a few days. Bed very comfortable. Ski Bar on site had good meals and lots of drinks choices and the staff were very accommodating. Very dog friendly. Try Riva Gelato just over on the campsite which has lovely ice creams to choose from. Easy to get to lots of different places from where we were. We were unfortunate enough to encounter almost a full day of heavy rain but the accommodation has a good TV with lots of channel choices so we were able to keep entertained when we couldn't get out. Communication with the owners was excellent. We will be visiting again.

The Old Chair Workshop ligger i Sedbergh, 33 km fra World of Beatrix Potter og 42 km fra Askham Hall, i et område hvor man kan tage på vandretur. I can't rate the old chair workshop highly enough - absolutely beautiful find after a long day on the dales way. Excellent facilities, lovely kitchen with everything you could want, well decorated. It was a very cold night (about minus 8) but I was warm and cosy. Thankyou!
