Good communication with owners. Easy parking. Bathroom was downstairs. Basket there on arrival the eggs, oatcakes and biscuits.

The accommodation was extremely well presented with everything you could think of included. We will definitely come back. We have stayed in lots of hotels and guest houses in Dumfries and this was by far the best.

Beautiful little cottage, one of the nicest we have stayed in. Well equipped and very comfortable. The enclosed rear garden was a real bonus for our dog and we even managed to sit in the sunshine one evening. We only stayed for two nights on our way home from Skye but would happily have stayed longer.
