The attached bar was a fun place to meet the locals. Angus, the bartender, was very hospitable, & knowledgable about the flavor profiles of the wide variety of spirits available. We felt very welcome while the locals regaled us with stories of their families and the area’s history. Remember it’s a bar not a pub-they don’t serve food but they can recommend a couple of restaurants. The outdoor seating by the river was an added plus! Definitely worth a visit!

There is everything you need in the house, even a hot water bottle! There were fresh flowers in vase on the table. I couldnt believe how beautiful the house and surrouding area was. We didnt want to come back.
